Class Description

Compare/Contrast

Discover different ways artists create a dialogue, either within one piece of art or in conversations with other artists and artworks. Take a closer look at the uncanny optical illusions of Salvador Dalí and works of historic and contemporary art that start conversations with one another. In the studio, explore the use of complementary and contrasting colors and make your own painted diptychs!

Instructors: Emily Auchincloss and Issy Bohling
