Exploring the Arts of the Islamic Cultures Gallery

Discover the history of Islamic art in this four-week session that gives you an up-close look at the major strengths of the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±ÏÖ³¡Ö±²¥â€™s collection, including manuscripts, ceramics, and geometry, as well as embroidery and contemporary art. Learn how curators engage with the large number of light-sensitive works in the collection to create new displays twice a year, as well as engage with works that stay permanently on view. Also explore a new installation of Indian paintings, which features a number of works from Mughal India.
